Johannesburg, South Africa

In August 2015, I travelled out to Johannesburg, South Africa with some recently qualified teachers from the University of Nottingham. We went to experience what it was like to teach and learn in local schools in the township areas and with the intention of building a lasting partnership between teachers in South Africa and the UK so we can continue to learn from each other and share ideas, resources and friendships. Whilst we were there, we visited central Jo’burg, Maboneng, Union buildings in Pretoria, the Apartheid Museum, Soweto and also sneaked in a safari day trip to Pilanesberg National Park.

This is my personal photo blog but I am also selling some photographs from the trip in order to continue fundraising. Please have a look if you would like to consider making a contribution: https://orderaphoto.wordpress.com
